Volunteer
The Fort Smith Trolley Museum is operated entirely by volunteers from administration to general labor. The main benefit about being a volunteer at the museum is that it shows your passion and commitment to helping us maintain the museum, keeping the museum operating during our day-to-day functions and helping to restore and maintain our collections.
Are you not sure how you can volunteer and make a difference? No need to worry. We have many different areas that you can volunteer your time. Listed below are just some of the different ways you can volunteer.
If you would like to become a volunteer, still not sure about how you can contribute or have further questions, please feel free to contact Bradley Martin at 479-650-5456 for more information.
Becoming a motorman and learning how to operate the streetcar
We are currently in need of volunteers who would like to learn how to operate the streetcar. Don't know how to operate a streetcar? No problem. We will train you! Being a streetcar operator is a very rewarding experience that allows you to meet new visitors that may be riding the streetcar for the first time as well as having the enjoyment of operating one of the original streetcars that use to run in the city of Fort Smith.
For any questions or more information on becoming a streetcar operator, please call Bradley Martin at 479-650-5456.
